Joey de Graffenried, DDS
Dr. Joey enjoys taking care of patients—and getting to know them as people.
He attended Baylor College of Dentistry. While he was there, he met his wife Lisa, who was training as a hygienist. They married in 1984. After Dr. Joey graduated in 1986, he enlisted in the Air Force and continued his training, adding to his IV sedation and surgical skills. The family relocated to Kilgore in 1990. Dr. Joey loves learning and teaching. You'll often find him speaking to students at local schools. In 2008, Dr. Joey completed the 10-month Maxi-Course in Implant Dentistry at the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry Medical College of Georgia. He also studied in France under Dr. Hilt Tatum, a pioneer in dental surgery. Dr. Joey is a founding member and frequent lecturer of the Advanced Dental Implant Studies. Since 2009, he has been a leader of this select group of implant dentists seeking to continue their education.
In 2011, Dr. Joey became an Associate Fellow with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He completes over 100 hours of continuing education per year and is a member of the American Dental Association® and the Texas Dental Association and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Joey is an elder at Kilgore Bible Church, and he is continually amazed at the grace of God towards us. He loves helping others see the love that God has for us in spite of ourselves. He hopes you'll look around the office and notice some of the beautiful art created by his talented wife Lisa. He enjoys exercise and completed his first triathlon in 2017. He loves spicy food—and he can't wait to meet you!
Erica Trammell, DDS
Originally from Arp, Texas, Dr. Erica completed her BS in biology at UT Tyler. She attended dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry at Houston. Dr. Erica graduated with her DDS in 2020. While in dental school, Dr. Erica was involved in many community service efforts, including multiple TMOMs and community health fairs.
Dr. Erica is excited to get back to East Texas and to continue giving back to the community as she progresses in her dental training.
Dr. Erica married her husband Sean in 2016. They have two adopted cats. Ranger and Luna. When she's not in the office, Dr. Erica enjoys traveling with her husband, reading a good book, or spending time with her family.
Dr. Erica is interested in many areas of dentistry and enjoys attending continuing education courses to ensure that she is giving the best and most up-to-date care to her patients. Come get to know her and let her care for you today.
Audrey Hale—Front Desk Administrator, Team Leader
Audrey has been a member of our team since 2010. Her warm smile and bilingual abilities make her an invaluable asset to us and our patients.
Audrey has experience teaching Spanish and loves to help our Hispanic community attain better oral health. She is grateful for the patients God brings us and enjoys providing them with outstanding care that goes beyond expectations. Audrey enjoys cooking and spending time with her three adorable grandchildren.
Rachel Williams—Front Desk Administrator
Rachel has been with us since 2017 and is a registered dental assistant. Her outgoing personality makes her a favorite with our patients. Rachel's work ethic motivates her to tackle any task God gives her to do—and she does whatever it takes to get the job done. Her favorite scripture is Matthew 5:14-16.
Rachel loves working with our wonderful team. Outside of work, her life revolves around her husband and their three children.
Lisa Millirons—Front Desk Administrator
Lisa's smile is the first one you'll see when you visit our office. Lisa brings over twenty years of valuable front desk customer experience to our team.
Lisa loves spending time with her family—preferably at the beach. Seaside, Florida, is her happy place. On the weekends, you'll find her hanging out with her rescue dogs, Joe and Yogi.
Maryana Chavarria—Front Desk Administrator
Maryana is excited to work with her new teammates! She loves meeting new people and being able to help translate for patients who need help. Maryana says, "I will do my very best to give everyone the best care possible."
Outside of work, Maryana's world revolves around her husband and daughter. She enjoys watching Netflix and drinking a Frappuccino from Starbucks. She hopes one day to travel to Paris and take lots of pictures.
Erin Ricks—Dental Hygienist, Team Leader
Erin has been part of the J. de Graffenried team since 2012. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in biology and from Blinn College in 2011 with an Associate of Applied Sciences in dental hygiene.
Erin enjoys building relationships with our patients to make sure they have the very best dental care and experience. Erin is a favorite with our patients—both children and adults.
Nicole Peavy—Dental Hygienist
Nicole began working at J. de Graffenried Dentistry in 2016. She graduated cum laude from Tyler Junior College in 2015 in dental hygiene. Nicole received the Clinical Coordinator Award for characteristics in leadership. Nicole loves the team and our patients like family. She loves getting to know you and your family, and you will enjoy getting to know her.
Nicole married her high school sweetheart and has three wonderful children and three grandchildren.
Hailey Handy—Dental Hygienist
Hailey joined our team in 2015. She graduated from North East Texas Community College in 2009 with an Associate of Applied Science in dental hygiene. Hailey loves the compassion and care our doctors and team give every patient. Our team and patients love her for her gentleness and caring personality.
Hailey married her high school sweetheart. They have two beautiful daughters. Hailey enjoys spending time with her family and camping.
